“I felt bad because throughout the two days, the lifeguard gave me hope that he did not drown because multiple searches were conducted, ” says his mother.
Timati describes her son as a friendly and outspoken person who would light up the room whenever he walked in. She said she is going to miss him.
“Even at work people loved him, and when they learnt what happend they cried – that is the type of person he was,” Timati said.
The family said they were disappointed by the municipality because none of its officials had visited the family to express its condolences.
“The death occurred at their facility, but not one call came from the Mayor or anyone else from BVM,” the deceased’s mother said, holding tears back.
