One of the two suspects involved in the cash-in-transit heist which took place on 3 December 2021 in Zwelethemba, handed himself over to the Hawks.
According to the spokesperson for the Hawks, Sebenzile Macebo (37) handed himself over at their offices in Cape Town, where he was arrested and charged. He then appeared in court and the case was postponed and transferred to the Worcester Magistrates’ Court.
Macebo appeared in the Worcester Magistrates’ Court last Wednesday 12 January on a charge of robbery with aggravating circumstances and remains in custody until his next appearance which will be tomorrow (21 January).
