Former rector and vice-chancellor of University of the Free State, Prof Jonathan Jansen, visited Somerset High School to motivate the learners.
“I want to see each and every one of you do well,” he said. “Remember academics are key.”
He concluded his speech with “work harder than everyone else and always respect other people.”
