The Cape Winelands District Municipality’s Environmental Health Theatre held a show at Sinethemba Aftercare for Grade 1 to 3 learners.
This interactive theatre is aimed at visually educating learners about proper hygiene, proper food and fire safety.
The municipality hopes that children will be able to implement what they learn through this play in their daily lives.
The aftercare, run by Marie Botha, is situated in Zwelethemba, and feeds roughly 300 children every day. Botha is set to retire soon, and is calling on the community to lend a hand in feeding the children here, as resources are currently not enough.
